ITALIAN EMBASSY’S EMERGENCY NUMBER

The Embassy has a dedicated line available for Italian citizens, active outside office hours for emergencies only.

The line must remain free for real emergencies (arrests, urgent hospital admissions, etc.) and cannot be used for general information requests or for information on visas, which will NOT be processed through that mobile number (for such requests, you can email to: consolare.manama@esteri.it  or  visti.manama@esteri.it).

Please note that improper use of the emergency mobile phone is regulated by art. 658 of the Criminal Code (“Raising alarm with the Authority“).

The emergency mobile phone number is +973 39539079 and it is active during the following time slots:

from Sunday to Thursday from 17:00 to 22:00;

on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) and on public holidays from 09:00 to 22:00.

Outside these hours, in cases of absolute emergency, it is available the following number of the Crisis Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, reachable at the number: +39 06 36225
