PUBLIC NOTICE FOR SPONSORSHIPS

The Embassy of Italy in Manama will organize also in 2020 cultural and promotional events all year long, including the Italian National Day, with the aim to promote Italy in Bahrain.
To this end, the Embassy is researching sponsorships and/or collaboration of public or private subjects who would like to promote their companies’ brand, business name or other distinctive elements on the occasion of these events, for example through the publication of their logo on invitations, banners, roll-ups, Embassy’s web site and social media pages, or through the display of products or promotion materials or else.

Interested subjects can write to the Embassy to the following e-mail address: segramb.manama@esteri.it (tel. +973 17 252 424) to submit their proposal, indicating every useful information on their company and indicate the sector of its activity and competence.

Manifestations of interest can regard sponsorships of financial nature (in terms of economic delivery) and technical nature (direct delivery of services or furnishing of goods) and it is also possible to submit proposals providing both forms (in part financial and in part technical). The Embassy may consent the presence of different sponsors to finance each initiative.
Prior to the formalization of the contract, the sponsor shall attest:
• the inexistence of conditions of impossibility to bargain with the Public Administration as well as inexistence of any other situation considered by the law detrimental or limitative of the bargaining capacity (see art. 38 D.lgs. n. 163/2006);
• the inexistence of impediments arising from the “antimafia” regulation or arising from the submission to preventing measures (if applicable);
• the inexistence of bankruptcy proceedings.

Sponsorship offers will be evaluated by the Embassy in compliance with criteria required by current law, in a framework of legality, efficiency and transparency. Therefore sponsorship offers are to be considered not binding for the Embassy for the purposes of formalization of the contract. In case the proposal is considered of interest, the concerned party will be contacted by the Embassy. The Embassy reserves the faculty not to accept a sponsorship offer inter alia when: a) it retains that it could generate a conflict of interest with its activity; b) it recognizes in the advertising message a possible prejudice to its image or to its initiatives; c) it retains that the offer is contrary to the general principles of Italian legal system.

Agreed sponsorships will be formalized with a specific contract signed between the Responsible of the procedure (Head of Mission) and the sponsor company’s legal representative.

All the proposers, in accordance with D.Lgs. n. 196/2003, give their consent to the treatment of personal data for the exclusive purpose of administrative and accounting management. The holder of the data treatment is the Embassy of Italy in Manama.

This advertisement was affixed to the bulletin board of the Embassy on the 17th of September 2019 and in the same day it was published on the official website (http://www.ambmanama.esteri.it) of the Embassy.
