The Italian Ambassador Andrea Catalano welcomed at the Italian Embassy in Manama the Bahraini Team that will travel to Italy to take part in the Special Olympics World Games to be held in Turin from 8 March to 15 March 2025.
The two Bahraini athletes will participate to the snowshoe competition after extensive training on Bahrain’s sandy surface. In the full spirit of the Games, the heat and sand of the Kingdom of the Two Seas will ideally meet the cold and snow of the Italian Alps in a journey of welcome and inclusion.
Ambassador Catalano extended his best wishes to the athletes, officials and medical staff of the Bahraini sports delegation.
