The Embassy of Italy in Manama and the Manama Desk of ITA Agency are pleased to announce the inauguration of the third edition of “LET’S EATALIAN”<\/strong>, the promotional campaign to raise awareness of the quality and variety of the Italian agri-food sector in the Bahraini market.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In recent years, the collaboration between ITA Agency and “Lulu” hypermarkets has made it possible to introduce a wide range of high quality Italian products into Bahrain.<\/span><\/span> This initiative has not only made these products accessible to local consumers but has also increased interest in the very rich Italian culinary heritage and the quality and sustainability that characterize “made in Italy<\/em>” products.<\/span><\/span> In this context,<\/span><\/span> in July 2020, Italian exports to Bahrain amounted to around 12 million euros, while in July 2023 they exceeded 19 million euros, marking a notable increase of 58%.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

This growth underlines the strong demand for Italian products and the success of the campaign “LET’S EATALIAN”, crucial in promoting commercial links between the “LuLu” hypermarkets and Italian companies.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Italian Ambassador to Bahrain, Paola Amadei, expressed great satisfaction with the success of this initiative and declared: “The collaboration between the Italian Embassy, ITA Agency and the “LuLu” hypermarkets is an example of how<\/em><\/span><\/span> Italian culture and excellence can be shared with the world. We are pleased to see the enthusiasm of local customers for the high-quality Italian products, the sustainability of our country’s production processes, the passion and<\/span><\/span> <\/em>the high competence of all the people involved in the sector and the unparalleled variety of the offer that makes the Italian culinary heritage extremely appreciated in Bahrain and around the world, and I am very happy to be here today to celebrate i<\/em>t\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
