In the context of international commitment in the fight against climate change, Italy actively supports the “Youth4Climate” (Y4C) initiative which aims at active participation of young generations in climate negotiations.<\/span><\/span> In this context, the “Call for Solutions” was published, open until May 26th, 2024.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Young Bahrainis aged 18 to 29 who wish to present project proposals in the following thematic areas will be able to participate in the initiative:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

1) Climate and environmental education \u2013 Promotion of knowledge for the objectives of the Paris Agreement;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2) Sustainable energy \u2013 Access to affordable, renewable energy and improved energy efficiency;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3) Food and agriculture \u2013 Regenerative and sustainable food production methods;<\/span><\/span> 4<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

) Natural heritage \u2013 Protection and recovery of natural resources;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5) Sustainable consumption and production \u2013 Promotion of reuse, renewal and recycling to minimize waste.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The call provides for a financial contribution of 30,000 dollars for each winning project.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

To participate you must:<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Register at https:\/\/community.youth4climate.info\/Welcome<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2. Complete the project proposal and budget template according to the instructions.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

3. Record a presentation video (2-3 minutes) in English, French or Spanish.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
