EMERGENCY NUMBERS OF LOCAL AUTHORITIES<\/span><\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n

To find out the number of local Authorities to contact depending on the type of emergency or service needed (police, ambulance, fire brigade, etc.), please consult the list on the official “Directory of Emergency Hotline Numbers<\/em>” page available at<\/span><\/span> following link:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

ITALIAN EMBASSY’S EMERGENCY NUMBER<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Embassy has a dedicated line available for Italian citizens, active outside office hours for emergencies only<\/span><\/strong>.<\/u><\/p>\n

The line must remain free for real emergencies<\/strong> (arrests, urgent hospital admissions, etc.) and cannot be used for general information requests or for information on visas, which will NOT be processed through that mobile number<\/strong><\/span> (for such requests, you can email to: consolare.manama@esteri.it<\/a>\u00a0 or\u00a0 visti.manama@esteri.it<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Please note that improper use of the emergency mobile phone is regulated by art. 658 of the Criminal Code<\/strong> (“Raising alarm with the Authority<\/em>“). <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The emergency mobile phone number is +973 39539079<\/strong> and it is active during the following time slots:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 from Sunday to Thursday from 17:00 to 22:00<\/strong>; <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 on weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) <\/strong>and on public holidays from 09:00 to 22:00<\/strong>. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Outside these hours, in cases of absolute emergency<\/strong>, it is available the following number of the Crisis Unit of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, reachable at the number: +39 06 36225<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
