The Italian Opera in Bahrain. Concert by the Accademia Chigiana

An amazing concert of opera arias by the Accademia Chigiana was held on 2nd December in the foyer of the Bahrain National Museum. Under the guidance of the Artistic Director of the Academy, Maestro Nicola Sani, three young talents (the soprano Anna Roberta Sorbo, the baritone Carmine Giordano and the pianist Francesco De Poli) interpreted famous arias from the operas of the most important Italian composers, from Verdi to Puccini, from Rossini to Bellini, from Leoncavallo to Donizetti, for the benefit of over 400 spectators, including the General Director for Culture and Art, Shaikha Hala Al Khalifa, and the President of the Supreme Council for Environment Mohammed Bin Deina.
